Uh huh... yep...

Pretty well sums it up, I'd say. :smooch:

Then there is that singular right-thinking liberal whose mission in life is to enhance this forum with wisdom.

No names.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Well, he unequivocally enhances the forum. There is that.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Conventional wisdom is higher voter turnout favors Democrats.

Parties want the strongest possible appeal to their base - and fear is a prime motivator.

It would be in the liberal media's best interest to hype the mid-term elections, particularly that the senate is in "danger" of going to the Republicans.

One does what one can, careful as always to avoid the equivalent of an event horizon of wisdom.

Jon has already christened me the wise one here, folks. He has the millionth post so I think he'd know. Back away slowly from the crown with your hands up, it's not yours.

Well that's a rather lofty way of looking at it but all I'm trying to say is that you need to get your possessives straight.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

Guys, he said no names - that clearly means me.

I kind of object to being called a liberal - somebody might think he means 'American liberal'. Those guys are f*cked up.

This time may be a bit different.

Many of Mr. Obama's supporters are so down on him, that drawing too much attention to him, his programs or his perpetual campaign style may result in depressing the vote in certain districts.

As with a lot of elections nowadays, this one will be decided in the middle.

I believe most of the MSM on the East Coast has a decidedly liberal bent. Now, whether that is due to them being journalism majors and suffering a life-long feeling of envy against other professions that actually make money for the majority of their practitioners, thereby causing some unknown well-spring of socialism, or it's simply a function of geography and the rule of idiotic senior editors, I don't know. Or maybe it's just a bad case of GLWS (Grey Lady Wannabe Syndrome).

Regardless, res ipsa loquitur.
Do you think it's envy against other professions that causes the liberal journalists to rig the U.S. elections or is it the Grey Lady Wannabe Syndrome?

Durn right I'm angry. Have been about this issue for decades.

For the country to function at its best, the media must be unbiased. Give people the facts, and let them make up their own minds.

Yeah, and the chances of me getting pregnant are slim and none, with slim having just left town.

Doesn't mean I don't keep trying...
