Presumably it's publically funded?

I'm a little surprised the GOP aren't all over that.

Presumably it's publically funded?

Not usually, although this museum does seem to have some public funding.

Is the Museum part of the federal government?

No, The National WWII Museum is a private non-profit institution. We have received federal, state and private funds for initial construction and the ongoing Road to Victory Expansion.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Had dinner tonight with a friend who just returned from visiting there.

He said it's absolutely spectacular and that he would like to see the movie that he saw there be shown in every high school in the country. :thumb:

That's huge.

I went in 2008. Superb museum.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.
