Home cooked meals ain't all they're cracked up to be health-wise. There's actually nothing in a McDonald's burger that isn't in a home-cooked burger. It's just food. You can choose to eat what you want to eat, whether at home or out. But if you think the cheeseburger you cook at home is healthier than the one you can get at McDonald's, you're probably wrong. And if you get the organic beef at the supermarket, you'll probably end up paying more for the home cooked one, too. The bad rap fast food gets is mostly to do with the drinks it's associated with, I think. Coke is not a drink for meals except when we think about what a fast food meal is. Soft drinks are grotesque nutritionally. Any food industry outrage we have should start and end there IMO. |
| As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good? | |
