HOLY CARP!!!
Recently, I went to a "Wings, Wheels and Keels" show at Hummel airfield, which is only about 15 minutes away from me. As the show title eludes, it was an airshow, car show and boat show all rolled into one.

Anyway, this was one of the ultralights on display there.

As I was looking in the cockpit, this was what I saw and damn near fell down laughing...

Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments
and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism.

We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.

Shortstop
A friend of mine recently started flying regional jets for an airline. The first day on the job he found that same checklist (except #2 was Keep your mouth shut) waiting for him in the cockpit.

Pictures I took of Hummel a few years ago - they are on Google Earth.

Nearby - also on Google Earth - back when Google Earth allowed parts of airplanes to show up in pictures, they no longer allow any part of an airplane in their panoramio pictures on Google Earth

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy
