HOLY CARP!!!
The ATM in the store next to my building dispenses Canadian $20 bills, like the vast majority of ATM's in Canada.

However, as you wait for your bills to be dispensed, a little graphic appears on screen, showing the ATM dispensing bills. American $2 bills.

Never seen that before, either in Canada or the US.

Of course they exist, my point was that an ATM in Canada, shows the ATM dispensing them. As far as I know, there aren't even ATM's in the US that dispense them.

Sorry, interpreted your "Never seen that before" as referring to the US $2 bill itself. Yeah, I don't think we have any ATM that dispenses $2 bills.

That would have been "Never seen them before". ;)

Canada used to have $1 and $2 bills too. The $1 was discontinued in 1989, the $2 in 1996.

I already spend $2 bills, mostly as tips, both in the US and here. You get interesting reactions. :lol2:

They used to be popular at horse races where the minimum bet was $2.

One of my grandmothers always gave me $2 bills for my birthday when I was young, she liked to bet on the horses.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

It's a known fact that the $2.00 is very photogenic, therefore it's often used for shoots.
You can look it up.
