Corn dealies.

You mean the little tools that get stuck into the ends of the corn cobs to hold them?

Let's see.... what other little anomolies do we have....

Well, growing up we had this cheap set of flatwear with our last name initial engraved on it. One lonely spoon did not get engraved for whatever reason, and became The Spoon Without The K©. Everything tasted magically delicious when you had The Spoon Without The K©, and it was the source of many, many bitter arguments among the three of us boys. Did I ever tell you I came from a competitive family? :lol2:

I know we have more, too. I will rack the brain, and try not to do any damage.

My dad, after a trip to Papua New Guinea, always referred to meals as "kai-kai." We also called cream of spinach soup, "second stomach soup." Better not to ask.
We're all mad here!

Sometimes "brain juice" over here, because it appears like we squeeze it out of a the "brain" of a honey bear:

Back home, if the barm cakes are kizzened, someone gets a Byker teacake instead.

Every morning the soul is once again as good as new, and again one offers it to one's brothers & sisters in life.

Meat soup was a concoction of ground beef sautéed with onions and a smidge of water and tossed over a mashed potato.

When I was a kid, and resources were rather tight, we ate a fair amount of "Tuna Fish Glop." That was before the age of Tuna Helper and other packaged nightmares, so at least ours came by its gloppiness and …. uh, flavor … honestly. But it was still just a way to turn a can of tuna into dinner.
