Does anybody juice as a supplement to your normal diet, or as weight loss/maintenance?

I've never really been a veggie eater, or fruit for that matter. I know I should try to eat healthier and I've been wondering if juicing in a viable alternative.
I don't like taking a lot of time in the kitchen everyday so I'm wondering about juicing a couple times a week, for starters.

For the little bit of research I've done, it seems that finding the right juicer is really important. Better to get one that produces drier pulp
and is easier to clean. Prices vary greatly, depending on the machine, which can start around $100 and skyrocket from there.

I've been eyeballing this one to start with, $99 at Amazon.com.

My prediction: recipes for mixing juice with alcohol will begin very shortly in this thread. :)

Patty, we do not juice at our house. Although I have made many a smoothie and many fruit popsicles.

I've been bugging Mrs. D'Oh to buy a juicer for a while now - she's resistant because of the cleaning of the thing being a pain in the ass.

Alcohol itself is the juice of the happy fruit.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Before investing in a juicer, I would recommend visiting some healthy organic vegan juice bars and find out if you can even stand drinking that sh!t.

We have juicers, though don't use them much. Visitors from New Zealand last weekend saw our juicer and enthusiastically suggested:
Beetroot, Parsley, Carrot, Apple, Orange, Lemon/Lime and I think either ginger or spinach were mentioned to complete the cocktail of seven.

I would rather have a paper cut on my lip.

When I drink healthy drinks, I often purchase a bottle of orange juice or strawberry-melon juice at the store or at one of the diners I go to.

No, I don't use a juicer at home.

Perhaps this is better than a juicer. Says it even turns fiber to a liquid.
