I don't get the point of only trying to sample federal government workers. This shutdown affects so many people. The freaking guy driving the Metro bus I take in to work every day will have shortened hours next week, and he works for a private entity.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

I get the point.

If you want to skew a poll as much as possible, dick with the sample.

By sampling who they wanted to, they achieved a predetermined result.

I don't see how this is in any way new, though. Pollsters have been screwing with data since the invention of both pollsters and screwing.

Remember the last election, and how certain people here claimed that the only honest poll was the one showing Romney with a healthy lead?

It turns out that poll was bollocks, and it also turns out that people believe what they want to believe, even conservatives.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

You're missing the point. You're always going to be able to say, "your side did it too." So what does that tell you about the absurdity of taking sides?
