ZOOOOOM!

So, it's getting a bit colder and a lot damper around here, and I don't know where half my sweatshirts are from last year. They have a supercheap department store just across from where I work, so I went by today in the hopes of picking up something. Well, turns out they aren't all that cheap. They have decent stuff, but too pricey for an impulse buy. I was walking out and a store guy approached me. "Here," he said, "it's a coupon for 40% off any one item in the store." Game changer! I went back and got a sweater so I wouldn't freeze for the rest of the day in the office. I thanked the guy for handing me the coupon. "No problem," he said, "they were in the local paper and in our catalog in the front of the store, but people weren't using them so I just ripped out a handful and started giving them out." How awesome is that? |

Shortstop

Kohl's and Costco do that kind of thing now. I think Costco doesn't even care about physical coupons anymore they send them in the mail, but then I think you get credit automatically. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |
