Michael Medved and Charles Krauthammer are the only conservative voices that I've heard that agree. Not sure how the defund Obamacare Republicans are reasoning on this.

Not sure how the defund Obamacare Republicans are reasoning on this.

Voters sent them to congress to defund obamacare.

I know it sounds crazy but maybe they are standing on principle.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Or not ...

The House GOP's budget proposal still includes "Obamacare's $716 billion in cuts to Medicare and maintains its $1.2 trillion tax increase."

If not hypocritical, may be the House GOP is just really confused.

A lot of them were sent there to kill obamacare - everything else is in second place, what is hypocritical?

if the repubs default the government they can forget about any chance for the White House in 2016.

Yes, but at least there may still be a white house to forget about.

If the government goes broke that isn't such a sure thing.

Well, with all due respect that's the problem with the tea party. It has a strong nihilist streak, hence the danger it poses to the republic and indeed the world.
