Many who deal with clinical depression find positive thinking to be helpful in brightening their spirits. However, some people don't find it to be as helpful as it is for lots of other individuals. In order for positive thinking to work, it takes more than just thinking postively. You also have to actually believe in the positive things you tell yourself. And you must also stop believing in many of the negative thoughts you have. It's easier said than done. But it can be done. |
