HOLY CARP!!!
This looks so brilliant. The final piece will air February 10th. I adore Beck, largely because he has a lot of the qualities I adore in Bowie. So this project just makes sense. The video is worth watching...

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Very interesting! I had Low the day it came out. Like everything Bowie ever did, he threw you a curve. This rendition is very interesting and very unique!

Never heard that song before. I love about 50% of what Beck does, am ambivalent on 25% and hate the other 25%.

I am so adjective that I verb nouns!
I was driving back from Vegas last night, listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage, and heard a song "Sorrow" by the Prissteens, which I liked, and it sounded vaguely familiar.

Turns out Bowie had done a version back in the early 70s, covering the original written by The McCoys (the original band of Rick Derringer, best known for "Hang on Sloopy"), which was also covered by The Modbeats and The Merseys in the UK.

An interesting comparison in styles:

The original by The McCoys

The Modbeats version

The Merseys version

David Bowie's version

The Prissteens version

The dogma lives loudly within me.
