Und mit Kraut!

How could I forget the sauerkraut? I'm thinking the Weisswurst gets cooked in the kraut in the oven while I make the pretzels. Veggie tray gets made before the pretzels, too. Should all be pretty easy actually.
When I cook sauerkraut I always put a cut up onion and a can of beer in it. They do it like that in Chicago. Oops, jon will be reading this with his blue pencil, AN OPENED CAN OF BEER.

I'm sort of stoked about puppy bowl - though I have a feeling the fam won't be into watching it. Shucks.

Pretty sure there has to be an NFC team in there.

I'm pulling for Marta, myself.
I'll get more rug hooking done with the football game, not the puppy bowl.

Go, Marta!

Since neither the Vikes nor Packers are there, no, it does not matter. :whome:

WHAT?!
What's this "nfc" you speak of? Is that the weak sort of almost-football they play in other places, but still get paid for?

Since your Superbowl knowledge seems a little weak, here's a primer:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_Bowl_champions

Some interesting tidbits:

Most wins?
Quote:

The Pittsburgh Steelers have won the most Super Bowls with six championships (record 6–2),

How about most appearances?
Quote:

Dallas and Pittsburgh have the most Super Bowl appearances with eight

Who are the biggest losers?
Quote:

The New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, and Buffalo Bills have also lost a record four Super Bowls

Who've had the most repeats?
Quote:

There have only been six times that the same franchises have met in multiple Super Bowls. The first was Super Bowl XIII, which featured a rematch of Super Bowl X, with the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Dallas Cowboys in both contests. The two franchises would meet for a third time in Super Bowl XXX, with the Cowboys leaving victorious. The Washington Redskins avenged their loss in Super Bowl VII by defeating the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XVII. The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in both Super Bowl XVI and XXIII. The only back-to-back rematch came in Super Bowl XXVII and XXVIII, with the Dallas Cowboys defeating the Buffalo Bills in both contests. Most recently, Super Bowl XLVI featured the New York Giants defeating the New England Patriots, the same result as when the two teams met in Super Bowl XLII.

So Mik, you have the Ravens on one hand and you have the team that has beaten your Bengals twice in the SB. So who is it going to be?

It's optional, but oh what an option.
No, it's almost mandatory. At least in Bavaria.
