I only use milk for cereal or making chocolate milk, but lately have been getting skim, since I eat enough fatty foods already.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
I drink 1% after probably 30 years of skim. I understand that vitamin D is only fat soluble, so you need a little fat in the milk to get the full nutrition.

But I love, love, love organic, unpasteurized whole milk. Awesome. I only buy about a half gallon a year.

Skim, and often low-fat (1%) buttermilk.

I grew up on a dairy farm drinking raw whole milk from Jersey cows (typically about 5-6% butterfat). As a teenager, I'd often drink a gallon a day. Maybe that helped me grow up big.

3.5% is the best, although I often drink 1.5%, too.

Everything below 1% tastes like water.

"Super-Skim" is no-fat milk which somehow manages to taste (and have the texture) of whole milk.
Also very high calcium.

It actually got me away from drinking glass bottled milk made by cows right down the road from me.

1%, but I only take milk in my coffee. I haven't had a glass of milk in over a decade...

Milk produced, processed, and bottled at a farm just a short distance from our home. It's delivered to our door weekly in glass bottles. We mostly get 2% milk from them, but they offer all types.

There are others that drink milk. Other people.

I go with 2%. Skim is like milk-flavored water. I prefer whole, but don't get it often.

I get the ultra-pasteurized since I don't use much. Really only for coffee/tea and cereal.

1%.

Normally I drink it while watching YouTube videos of the Occupy protestors chant something about the 99%?

But srsly, I love milk. I drink at least a full glass each day!

2%, but that's only when I'm eating cookies, pie, or cake.

Whole milk or raw milk when I can find it.

The cream-top raw milk doesn't do much for me though because the cream is a bit tasteless and I have difficulty mixing it in while the bottle is full. Can't shake it up.

I don't drink milk straight. But I'll use 1% milk for canned tomato soup, for example.

Anyone ever try coffee milk? It's big in Rhode Island, where I'm originally from. But here in Maine, many locals have never had it.

By "coffee milk", do you mean condensed/evaporated milk? It's the milk to put in coffee, if you ask me.

Interesting you should say that, Klaus. Even living on a dairy farm, my grandmother always used PET(brand name) evaporated milk in her coffee. The can had a picture on it of a cow's head coming out of a can that had a picture on it of a cow's head coming out of a can... ad infiniturm. The regression of cows and cans used to make my head spin as a small child trying to imagine where it stopped.
