I left the dog behind in Paraguay because pets were not accepted on planes at all in the month of July. I was having a rough time of it at home, and mentioned to the girl I left Marta to that, if at the end of her PC service she decided she wasn�t going to keep the dog, that I�d love to try to get her back here. Fast forward to about a month ago, she decides to maybe leave early, and we start the tedious process of looking for ways to fly the dog to the States. Fast forward to last week, we had Marta planned to fly with a PCV flying out of Paraguay to NYC for vacation, but I wasn�t holding out much hope, because the weather had been just below 100�F all week, and had to be under 85 for pets to fly cargo. Monday morning, the day of her flight, a thunderstorm rolled through and cooled temps just enough to allow her to fly. I picked her up at JFK that night, and there was much rejoicing.
