A Nanoparticle Sunlight-to-Hydrogen Generator

Eventually, we'll find replacements for fossil fuels. Developments like this point in that direction.

I used to believe hydrogen was the wave of the future.

Then we found natural gas out the wazoo. Hydrogen may still be the wave of the future, but it's a 100 year future.

Usually is, for complete adoption of an entirely new energy source.

You can't do silly voices breathing natural gas. Waste. Of. Bloody. Time.

Childrens birthday are freaking hilarious with hydrogen. You get them all to breathe it in and do silly voices and then you ask the birthday boy or girl to blow out the candles.

It simply doesn't get any better.

HOLY CARP!!!
I think something like this, if truly viable and if relatively easy to implement, we could actually see a very fast changeover to a new fuel, at least in an entire segment, such as automobiles.
