There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore.

Lane[/b]: Our country might have been better off if it was still just men voting. There is nothing worse than a bunch of mean, hateful women. They are diabolical in how than can skewer a person.
Funny, she sounds like she just described herself.

The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

I've known a lot of women in my life, and ever single one of them has said that women as a group are the most vindictive, mean, diabolical creatures alive...

They're just trying to make you feel better, Larry.

Incendiary, certainly. Over the top and unnecessarily divisive.

I don't like this part of his speech either:

Quote:

While saying that he “loves my homosexual brothers and sisters,” he said they are disobeying prohibitions set out in the Bible and the Quran. “Now you want to change God’s ways so God doesn’t know what he’s doing.”

I'd consider both to be ample evidence for the need to keep religious leaders away from the levers of political power.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Steve, what is your opinion of Louis Farrakhan's comment about white people?
I'm not familiar with it.

Got a quote?
Not about white people, in general, but how about this - about one white person in particular.

Just go to 0:30

Shall we see if the Democrats and the press (but I repeat myself) ask Hillary Clinton, President Obama about these statements? Shall we wait for their denouncements?

Maybe what America needs is more regulation of it's televised media, since clearly the free market isn't working in providing a high quality, unbiased source

You can complain about bias all you like (and you do!), however clearly nothing much is going to change if you just rely on market forces.

IOW, what you chaps need is the BBC News, except with Americans. Let's hope you do a better job than you managed with Top Gear.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?
