I poured the coffee in this morning at 9:00 and it's still piping hot.

Nice. Starbucks puts out really nice travel mug/thermoses, too. I can fill mine, screw the lid on, close the drink port, and throw it in the motorcycle saddlebag. It doesn't leak a drop, and the coffee stays HOT. :thumb:

HOLY CARP!!!
I can't stand plastic or even stainless travel mugs.

I'm a ceramic coffee flavor snob.

I picked up a Starbucks ceramic travel mug and I love it!

I may look into the ceramic ones...

And of course, I have this one, that I've had for years, for job sites. Not Chinese. Made in Nashville, TN:

ZOOOOOM!
My dad has that one, too, Frank. He's had it at least 20 years.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

Frank, we use one like that every morning for storing hot coffee in the kitchen.

I have a Stanley, too. Mine is 30+ years old. When I got it, they didn't have the attached handle on them so I got a replacement suitcase handle and secured it with two stainless steel hose clamps. The thing is essentially indestructable unless you run over it with a D9 Cat on a hard rock.

When I click that link I get a list of dozens. Which one do you have?
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

I used to have one of the Stanley vacuum flasks. They make a terrible noise if you drop them.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

It looks like this one: http://www.swedausa.com/main/default/ProductsDetail.aspx?id=453

It was part if a SWAG give away from Roland. It's been sitting around my cupboard for a couple of months, so I rinsed it off and gave it a try.

And yes, Mark, ceramic does taste a little better, but the tradeoff of having hot coffee that still tastes fresh 5 hours later makes this more than worth the small difference in taste.
