Good president, but he never won the nobel prize. |
|
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Lincoln, once again uniting the fractured. |
| As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good? | |

Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism. We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.

Good flick. A bit cheesy and staged in parts, but the DDL was superb. Sally Field was mediocre -- it was just so obviously Sally Field. The screen play itself was elegant and articulate, in a way that shows just how much we've lost in the arts of rhetoric and liberal education. The politics were fascinating. The roll call was, I thought, a sort of perp walk for the descendents of the men who voted against the 13th amendment. |

Was Sally Field still playing Forrest Gump's mother? We went to see it tonight but running a little late and surprised to be told that there were only seats down front, so we decided to see it tomorrow. |

I'll wait for Netflix to get it, as with every other film. Same film for 0.00001% of the price. Seeing it at a theater would cost more than an entire month of unlimited films on Netflix. Plus, a bag of popcorn here is about 2 cents and has no greasy poison in it. No gas or parking to pay for or ticket line to stand in. Don't have to wear earplugs or smell someone's mustard or listen to their cellphone conversations. Can watch it naked too.
