The Bible, Jon. |
| As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good? | |

Yes, The Bible is a good choice. If that gets too deep for you maybe something lighter like this to take the edge off. ![]() |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |

Copper, the government is incompetent and has no business teaching anybody about something as complex as flying a plane. |

Some more useful non-fiction: http://www.closecombattraining.com/free-close-combat-training-manual/?gclid=CPDxoZm8gbECFYao4AodIRWbFQ Again free of charge. A word of warning, this book has thousands of liberals screaming to have it banned. |

Maybe I couldn't help it, Ax. But do you know who can help? Jesus, that's who. |

very different. at least the subject matter is completly different and also the style its a blend of two stories which converge at the end, one of a bizzare murder and the story of marconi wireless the murder is just bizzare. but the story of marconi is intruiging. he was a "make it in the garage" amateur, with no formal science training, who just pushed with his intuition and had an uncanny business sense. really a bill gates/steve jobs clone. and the revolution of wireless, was at the time, so much more unbelievable and game changing than even our wifi technology. if we r amazed with wifi, imagine a turn of the century invention which allowed communication without cables or wires..to ships at sea, and across the atlantic. it seemed miraculous. my wife grew up on via marconi, on the corner of via galvani in a milan suburb. those italians were really into electricity. You've read "Devil in the White City," haven't you bach? Same premise: murderer in Chicago during the Columbian exposition. Though the stories never converge, they are both covered in great detail - the World's Fair being, at least to this Chicago boy, the more interesting of the two stories. |
