HOLY CARP!!!
|
The power at their place - aka Mrs. Dewey's parents' place - is still out after the storm. Mrs. Dewey's parents are spending the night at her brother's house since it has fewer steps than my place, and they're spending the night in light and air conditioning here. It's been nice, we've just been sitting here talking and watching TV and youTube videos, and dealing with a hyper-drama phone call from Twenty, who thought someone stole her car keys (she found them). It's been nice. This will actually be the first time that Sixteen has slept here. It's been a long, slow thaw until recently. And... Sixteen told me she wants to move in with me for half the time, especially during the school year. To put it mildly, this has been a very good day.

Awesome Dewey. She'll come around to recognizing how lucky she is to have you as a father. |
| As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good? | |

That's wonderful, Dewey. Wonderful that the decision came from her. Brought back some memories; my parents divorced when I was about 12, and I would have loved to spend more time with my dad, but was not given the option. Kudos to you for hanging in there. |

That sounds great, Dewey! I'm happy for you, it will be cool to have your daughter move in half time, you can resume some Dad conversations. Not sure what I mean re "dad conversations"? Let me help you remember. . . "you are NOT dating some guy with a Van. No, that's too late. So...where were you last night until 2 freakn am?? What have you done to your toes, that's amazing!!?? Do you have other body piercings? Where did you get the skull/crossbone ring? Yes, tatoos are a form of self-expression - No you can't get a tatoo (no arguments, young lady!). Oh well...nice tatoo I guess. A gold tooth - A GOLD TOOTH!!!? A tanning salon, what - "is" - a tanning salon, and why?? Don't those shoes kill your feet? Why are they so pointed? You are NOT short. I'm telling you, if you break that stiletto heel, you'll break your leg, and THEN you'll be sorry. No, that outfit, it doesn't make you look fat. Ummm. I liked yesterday's hair style, but I like today's color. (Dewey - of course just kidding in the above) However I guarantee you, if Sixteen moves in, you automatically lose 70% bathroom rights.
