http://communities.washingtontimes.com/neighborhood/ad-lib/2012/jun/12/navy-drone-crashes-chesapeake-bay-whats-drone-doin/ Idiots. [EDIT] I just checked and the airspace over Bloodsworth Island is actually restricted. Still, they shouldn't be dropping them near civilians.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |

I'm pretty sure this is just the tip of a vast and frightening attack on American civil liberties. The thought that they actually test these things on American soil is just unbelievable! What the f*ck is the point of having foreign countries if this is going to happen???? |

FFS. The Navy is based out of Annapolis. They take their toys out (usually into the Bay itself) and blow the crap out of them All. The. Time. No one ever asks about the disproportionate Navy presence in the harbors, or about the Navy ships along the Severn. If they're gonna use drones to blow up terrorists then the guys who fly 'em are going to be learning how here at home. You're not going to have one without the other. |
