That's cool. I think fruit is beautiful too. I guess nature intends it to be, on some level. The tree's nature or our nature or some combination of the two. |

Entirely depends on how a plant's reproductive plan has evolved. Fruit designed to be fertilized and planted by being eaten would benefit from looking appealing to animals. Fruit designed to preserve the seeds so that they may germinate on their own would benefit from looking ugly and tasting nasty. |
