one of the angels
We've been in SanDiego since early Monday. 2 growing huge boys 17 and 14, mr. apple, and me and the girlchild (12).

I got to visit with my old roommates and best friends.. They basically are government / science interface of Scripps.. sooooooooooooooooooooo incredibly special.. and super super interesting. I've gotten to spend some excellent time with them

the air is so incredibly comfortable, cool, dry, warm, no pollens, clouds and sunshine every afternoon. the kids were genuinely interested in maritime and military things (omg the air craft carrier), We absolutely adored the botanical gardens and tide pools. so many cool plants... incredible bamboo and tree specimens. It's been a chore logistically coordinating everyone and their caloric intakes.. (i could eat one bowl of oatmeal, a slice of cheese and a couple apples in a few days and be totally fine)..

soooo this morning we are going to go pig out on steak and eggs or something like that and pop on the train and vegetate till early Monday.

The train was actually very comfortable and afforded great conversations and card games
That was my report. I hope you enjoyed it. I'll be 'seeing' you soon.

Did I miss LOL Cats?
it behooves me to behold

How fun, Apple! What a wonderful experience for your family.

I've been to SD once a long time ago. It is a beautiful city.

Have a safe trip home.

Sounds like a great vacation! And well-deserved, I bet.

What train is this? Wow, do people in the States still take trains to go on vacation? Best way to look at the country, I think. I took the train to travel to all ends of Spain, and the ride was usually one of the best parts of the entire trip.

I have never in the history of my life heard anyone say a bad word about San Diego. My cousin recently moved there with her husband and they had their baby there. I can´t imagine they´ll ever come back East to live.

Awesome. Did you get to see OT?
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Safe trip home, apple.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?
