HOLY CARP!!!
For the past 4 years, as most of you know, I worked as a telemarketer, selling tickets to family entertainment events like circuses, charity hockey games, magic shows etc. I did everything from telemarketing to admin to training to managing the weekend shift for a few months.

But the last few months I've been really starting to burn out and need to do something different.

On Monday I start a job at a company that does outsourced customer service and tech support for various telecommunications and financial companies etc.

What I'll be doing is inbound customer service for Rogers, one of Canada's main cellular, cable and internet companies. Training lasts 4 weeks, since before you can even take a call you have to be able to answer any question a customer can ask. Sure is different from the 15 minute training you get at telemarketing gigs. :lol2:

Also, I'm 2 courses short of graduating college. I'm taking one this summer, and hopefully the final one in the fall.

Just figured I'd give an update on what's up in my life. :)

Riley - congrats on being so close to graduation! And it sounds like what you're doing (and what you WERE doing) is pretty tough work. You are probably building some GREAT interpersonal skills. :thumb:

Congratulations Riley!
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?
