Andrew McCarthy asks 'Have you heard about the Saudi journalist who faces a potential death sentence under sharia?'

I have up till now considered Fox a bastion of American conservative ideology. Maybe I should rethink and consider Fox a bastion of whoever is paying them the most...

I think they reported that one right after they talked about the Sun 'journalists' being arrested for allegedly bribing British police and public servants.

A word search for “Kashgari” on the Fox website turns up no hits.

Kashgari:

MSNBC - 5 hits
CBSNews - 4 hits
ABCNews - 5 hits
CNN - 1 hit
The Beeb - 4 hits
FT - 2 hits
NYT - 10 hits
WaPo - 6 hits
WSJ - 4 hits

FoxNews - no hits. I guess you don't get to decide.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

They're probably concerned about drumming up anti-Islamic bias and hatred among their viewers.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Very interesting. A search on 'apostasy' turns up a number of hits. All of them related to Iran.

You should think of them as a reflecting, to a large extent anyway, the will of their most powerful shareholders. #1, Murdoch. #2, this Saudi prince.

To be truthful Jon, I don't think of them at all. If I start reading an article and find myself with a "huh?" expression, I check the source. If it's Fox News, I just close the article and move along. I just can't bring myself to waste my time with them.

Think this has any thing to do with the tons of racest crap sent to Fox?
The memo goes on to suggest new and unusual ways to harass Fox News: “detailed opposition research” on the network’s staff and executives, attacks against Fox News employees on Facebook and other social media, mailing anti-Fox News literature to their homes and placing “yard signs and outdoor advertising in their neighborhoods.”

I think you've got your Foxes crossed. That's the other thread. This is the one about Murdoch being up the arse of a Saudi Prince.

Kashgari desperately tried to delete the posts within six hours, but it was too late: the damage was done as Saudi clerics and thousands of Saudi citizens started baying for his blood.

In almost any culture, deviating from the accepted norm is risky. Islam has refined the art of conformism to a pinnacle of effectiveness.
