this video is not 'mixed' you know - but the live performance was fantastic - just flawless. i think the best of the nite.. in all of the others, the 'soloists' were drowned out. i am not really a beach boys fan, but they certainly were pro last nite. seasoned performers are so good at holding the microphones at the perfect distance... even if they are/were not original band members. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lN6Lv20qXhE kind of sad to see Glen Campbell in the audience.. my own dad died of Alzheimer's.. such a brutal disease... there is a certain vacant look they share. Glen did a great job singing tho, altho he had a couple moments of overexuberance. |
