ZOOOOOM!

![]() So... yeah. Who is this guy and why is he important? If you ask around, you'd likely find that most consider Night of the Living Dead to be the first (but if not the first, at least the seminal) Zombie film. Yeah sure there was White Zombie back in '32, but the "zombies" in that film were of the Haitian voodoo variety and bare no resemblance to the monsters we've come to define as the standard, set by Hinzman himself in the first few moments of Living Dead: when he stumbled into view in that rural Pennsylvania cemetery, he became the world's first film zombie. R.I.P., Mr. Hinzman. ...see you later. |

HOLY CARP!!!

I didn't recognize the name, but when I clicked the link, due to the image size of the headshot all I saw at first was from the tip of his nose up, and I didn't even have to scroll to know exactly what the picture was from. ![]() "They're coming to get you, Barbara!" and of course, one of the great lines in cinematic history, a vigilante zombie hunter in response to a question asked by WIIC news reporter Bill "Chilly Billy" Cardille: "Yeah, they're dead... they're... they're all messed up." |
