yeah.. he's awesome.. great voice.. it was hard to tell if he was a male or a female. I hear all the pop music with my kids i the car. I just don't know who is singing sometimes. the radio stations rarely seem to announce who has sung the song (like they did in the golden olden times) I was impressed with Paul McCartney's voice.. so strong and resonant and how incredibly professional and polished the Beach Boys were. spot on. I love Adele.. there's something about her voice that sends shivers up and down my spine. i hope they leave her figure alone.. let a gal be kind of fat .. ok? she's so beautiful.. i know she is even more beautiful having lost her 60 pounds or so, but i hate that there is pressure to conform to conformity. anyhoo.. i love the grammys. |

Didn't see it. Which of the "Beach Boys" performed? When I saw them, 'bout 10 years ago, only Mike Love was in the band which called themselves the "Beach Boys." Brian was in Illinois being crazy, and Al Jardine was touring as "America's Band." Edited by George K, Feb 13 2012, 04:18 AM.

Glenn Campbell (hope he's doing OK) looked, well, not too good in that clip. When I saw them they played outdoors, and they were awesome. Edit again: They could have at least used a real Theramin. Edited by George K, Feb 13 2012, 04:19 AM.

Campbell did not look good, but I was surprised he could perform as well as he did. |

I heard Adele interviewed on the radio this morning. I didn't think any genuinely English people actually spoke like that. She sounded like Dick van Dyke's niece. Lawks' a lummie guv'nor, an' throw in a jellied eel for the rozzers! |

I always assumed that cockneys ate Jellied eels as it made living in the east end of London feel slightly less awful by comparison. |

I saw them play with The Captain and Tennille I believe it was before they were The Captain and Tennille, they were just in the chorus behind the Beach Boys. I saw them outdoors on the Boston Common with the Boston Symphony - two nights in a row. I saw them play outdoors at Schaefer Stadium (Patriots old home) with Chicago - Dennis was the drummer for both. I saw them a few other times too, they used to tour a lot - always awesome. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |
