HOLY CARP!!!
Does anybody here still use Lotus Notes? Is there still a need for a non-web based collaboration platform, or do we only need gmail & friends?

Well, but from what I understand MS Exchange covers only a fraction of the Lotus Notes platform (it is just a mail server, whereas Notes is a full-fledged platform for deploying and developing collaboration software) - so the two cannot really be compared.
