I'm making a bunch of these to give for Christmas, and extras to have here at home over the next week.

Hubby is very excited to have these! He loves sticky buns.

OMG!

This is one of the best things about Christmas.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

I love sticky buns, but they aren't just for Christmas - and the ones I'm accustomed to are a bit more plain, just a cinnamon raisin rolled bun without the topping and nuts. But these are never eaten plain - they must be grilled, and have butter melted on top of them, and then smothered with maple syrup. Yum...

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.
