2-bit thug.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Slopping the hogs at SEIU, who contributed over $27MM to his campaign, damned well makes him to blame.
The dogma lives loudly within me.

maybe in some parts of the country.

Malkin needs to move past McDonald's.. mcnuggets? i would never feed one to my kids.. super yuck.

if you feed a hungry person they will eat, Jolly.. you needn't feed them junk so they'll stuff it in their faces.

If i were the president I would just serve rice, meat and veggies.. maybe throw in some noodles, cereal, potatoes... fresh fruit..

I was just at the High School cafeteria.. let me say, the packaged food products are poisonous practically, with as many chemicals, fake cheese, and by-products (hello chicken lips) as food.

you wanna eat chicken lips and cow heads.. go ahead.

apple, did you read the article? the food being served was inedible - undercooked meats, moldy noodles and such that upset the kids' stomachs.

The amount of (inedible) food being thrown away each day is a disgraceful waste in economic hard times.

i did Plays..

i've come to not take Malkin seriously anymore..

she was somewhat over the top and often entertaining.. anymore she is a bit of a pawn in the chessboard of pundit journalism.

noodles have to be stored for up to a week to develop mold and food has always been thrown away.. and yes, brown rice, if it was served rather than the precooked instant rice could be perceived to be hard.

I am instrumental in the delivery of loaves of bread and such from Panera to food pantries and the citizens will not eat it..and yes, they throw it away. .. they want soft white bread.. real bread. they do eat all the brownies, cookies and such tho.

i certainly never advocate throwing anything away.

First...

if you feed a hungry person they will eat, Jolly.. you needn't feed them junk so they'll stuff it in their faces.

Then...

So I guess if you feed a hungry person they won't eat healthy food and you do have to offer them junk food?

Which is why you're all such porkers, presumably.

In case anybody wants to take offense, I've put on about 25 pounds since coming here. Oink oink.

You want to put on weight? Try living on Waikiki Beach on expenses for a couple months.

Many years ago I had to go there to work and was eating every meal at fancy restaurants. Wow, after about a month nothing fit.

Those tourists are really tortured.

Now, if you'll notice in the L.A. Times piece, 75% of the at-large community gave the new menus a :thumb: during taste tests. Adults, however, ain't kids.

Which brings me back to my point...if you want kids to eat, feed them what they will eat. The Food Police can certainly help by pointing out which type foods are healthiest, but if a school lunch worker can't turn those ingredients into something a sixteen year-old boy will eat, it ain't worth a tinker's damn.

It's just a waste of time, effort and food.

What I don't understand is why they did not know that kids won'teat Pad Thai, quinoa wit lentils and vegetable curries. I could have told you that.
