I'm #4 of 6. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother older, 2 brothers younger. The 2 girls are entrepeneurs with their own successful businesses, art gallery owner and contractor respectively. Oldest brother, currently enstranged from the rest of us, is in the offshore seismic industry. 2 younger brothers in the military and retail sales industry respectively. All are married except the oldest girl (seperated) and youngest boy (gay, positive and not in any partnerships currently).

Two older siblings. My brother is the oldest, he's a professor of a subject I respect and does some really cool work. Definitely the smartest guy in the family.

History I'm guessing. ::chuckle::

Brother - Younger by 8 years. Passed away minutes after being born. Never felt comfortable one way or another, regarding listing him as a brother when people ask how many siblings I have. Thoughts?

That's tough. And so sad. I can see saying that you just have 3 brothers to keep things simple, but also that that seems wrong; that he should be mentioned. Maybe there is no easy answer.

There is a cluster of a sister and two brothers, then me 9 years after the oldest. Brother closest to me in age and the one I spent the most time with as a kid also lives in the same city I do. Sis and other bro live far away. They're all super nice.

Haven't mentioned the forum really. Would I suggest they join? I don't know, but they could each tackle questions we ask here and they all like lolcats.

Small family here.

I have a brother who is 5 years older and who lives in Atlanta. He loves an evening cocktail and is funny as hell. No kids. We all have cats.

FWIW, my parents have been married 48 years in January.

No divorces in either mine or my husband's family, in their known histories.

Not to bring everyone down, but you asked,
Had one older sister and four older brothers. All gone now.
All had pretty good lives and families, except for that
WWll thing.
Vince, did all 4 of your older brothers die in the war?
Oh no, sorry if I gave that impression.
All four survived the War, tho three of them saw combat.
They came home and all married and raised families.
They passed from all the normal "stuff".
