Interesting, thanks for posting that Jon.
Yes, easily my favorite biography of all time. (Not that I've read many.) I felt such a kinship with Brahms, probably just because the book was so well written. One of my favorite Brahms facts learned there was that, on his deathbed, he would mostly just read Bach scores. |
