If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Looks like Janet and I are going next May on a business trip. So what's to do? Is it nice?

Never been but I'm sure some of our British contingent has. Its a popular destination for them.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

If we go we will likely add a week or two in Spain and France.

Sounds like a terrific trip, Mik! This should make up for the other one that you missed.

HOLY CARP!!!
Never been, but a neighbour has. All she talked about was how tough it was to be a vegetarian there, and that there were a lot of cats running loose. I guess if you like meat and cats you'd have a better time. I'd be willing to give it a shot. For sure you should add a week or two, somewhere in Europe. Nuts to go so far and not make more of it.

Reminds me of China...
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Which island? (I´m guessing Tenerife?)

I flew to Tenerife from mainland Spain about a decade ago. Just a couple days, and we just stayed on that island. Some friends of mine had hiked El Teide, a volcano and the tallest mountain in Spain, but we didn´t get that far (I guess because it was basically just a weekend trip).

I remember there being a lot of German tourists. And airfare to mainland Spain was super cheap. I´d recommend you take advantage of that -- go to Granada!

I must have a prodigious quantity of mind; it takes me as much as a week, sometimes, to make it up.

And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
