You mean, just like governments setting up road hazard situations where people die....more than once (well, not the same person of course). In fact, I'll wager that happens more often than people getting trampled to death from sales events. I must have missed it this year, where did someone get trampled to death on Black Friday? |

ZOOOOOM!

You're getting worse and worse with those analogies. Just like governments setting up road hazard situations? Just like? What bearing does this have whatever on Black Friday? I suppose it's just like the ridiculousness of Black Friday shopping in the same sense that hotwork accidents and acrobatic mishaps at Cirque du Solei are just like Black Friday. I don't even know what your point is anymore, do you have one?
You might not have checked the news at all during the Thanksgiving season from five years ago to today, but more bad things happen in Black-Friday-related incidents than in other shopping scenarios. My point was that Black Friday is ****ing ridiculous, an opinion entirely unrelated to the state of the economy since we seem more than capable of acting civil inside our shopping malls the other 364 days out of the year. This also has nothing to do with state maintenance and road conditions, ice cream trucks, heart disease and grasshoppers but I would have considered that pretty obvious. |

HOLY CARP!!!

Lots more talk about 'Black Friday' here this year. Cross border shopping for the day is becoming a big deal, and Canadian retailers are feeling the need to get in on the game to keep shoppers home. Can't imagine going to a store with those crowds and line ups, but to actually sit in border line ups and spend hours travelling to do so.......that's really nuts. |
