Long but fascinating piece on Nostradamus.

HOLY CARP!!!
Good article that unfortunately will be ignored and forgotten.

I don't know about others here but I find the popular fascination with the empty musings of Nostradamus more than just a little annoying.

Who cares about Nostradamus when 2012 is just around the corner!

I was watching a show on the Science Channel at my Dad's house awhile back (I managed to hijack the channel from Animal Planet which my daughter watches obsessively when we're there, since we have no cable at home). Anyway, I saw this show on 2012 and the Mayan prophecies. It focused on some craggy rock on a remote island that was supposedly carved by Mayans to look like a person (it looked like a craggy rock to me) and it was supposed to align perfectly with the sun and moon or some such thing in 2012 when the world ends. They presented it as a serious, fact-based theory (complete with eery music) - - on the Science Channel. :rolleyes2:

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Nostradamus should be discussed on Ancient Aliens. It would give the show more credibility.

I don't know, Ancient Aliens brings up some interesting points...

The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

So does my cat, but I don't want to watch her doing it.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?
