Geaux Tigers!
Our latest black out in L.A. reminded me of the EMP-blast TEOTAWKI books One Second After and Lights Out.

Both books were freely available for a few years on the net, until they became so popular (OSA had 3,000,000 downloads), both were picked up by regular publishers. One Second After went on to become a NYT bestseller and Lights Out is rumored to be under option in Hollywood.

Is giving away product the best way for a fledgling author to make it in today's crowded publishing field?
