An alarming number of people (women) have been charged for faking a cancer diagnosis and then accepting cash donations of support. They revel in the sympathy and support offered from friends.

They should have to return any funds and donations received and earn any remaining monies by spending time working in a cancer treatment facility.
I thought of the Munchausen Syndrome. These people are mentally sick.
