I'm reliving my teenage years. I'd forgotten how drinkable cider was. This is a bit different from English cider, but still pretty damn good.

You've got to love English Duty Free shops.
Haha no way. I've been working in a pub over summer and the guy who runs it loves this stuff. I've started drinking whiskey alot more lately and he suggested I try this and I frickin loved it.

Where were you holidaying a few miles south of the border?! That's MP territory!

We were in Berwick - what's that, about an hour north of you?

Yeah, it's about an hour north. But, funnily enough, it's where Neil is from and we were there the first two weeks of August. We may very well have seen each other and not known it! ^_^

Currently, I'm enjoying a bit of Mad Dog 20/20. Hey, the choices aren't great at 8:30 AM, and it's been one of those mornings...
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

I think I've finally managed to wean Kara off Corona.
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

I'm on a big hop kick right now.

This last week I had some Avery IPA, made here in Boulder, then has some Hop Devil.
Both were great.

As unattractive as it sounds, it does get quite good reviews.

Anybody else ever try Armenian Brandy? Queen Tamara specifically. I've been drinking brandy lately, you know, for the health benefits. This stuff is a revelation compared to everything else I've tried.

I tried the 10 year. A bit of googling indicates there are younger versions, but I haven't tried them.
