HOLY CARP!!!
I saw this film last night.
Wow! How embarassing for the Catholic church. Ouch!
I'm surprised that church survived at all.

It is streaming on Netflix now.

HOLY CARP!!!
I also watched all 4 episodes of Empires: The Medici

Fascinating look at the family so influential on the Renaissance and the Catholic church.

This is also streaming on Netflix.

I have a morbid curiosity about astonishing things in history like the holocaust and religions.
I struggle to understand how such things could happen.

Actually it was the Medici series that motivated me to learn about Martin Luther.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy
