It's sad to be poor. Food stamps won't pay for a nce Mersault that is the *perfect* match with lobster.

No but we made sure my friend's wife was in the car when we brought the trunk full of poached fish back to town. She has a treaty card just in case the fish police had a check stop on the highway.

Ah. Poached twice, must be pretty chewy.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

Look at the first item on the receipt.

The perfect choice.

Lamb dopiaza sounds good. We're heading over to a friends house - he's bar-b-cuing ribs. Has a special rub he uses, which is excellent.

We had lobster ravioli from TJs. It was ok, nothing fantastic.

Ate out Had a Rack of Lamb for two, served with Potatoes and
Carrots whipped together and Broccoli.
Shared a large plate of smoked Salmon with Onion and Capers
for the appetizer.
Of course started with the obligatory Vodka Martini.
It was one of those perfect nights, center city Philly and we found a free parking place.

yum.

One of the best things I've ever eaten was an appetizer of smoked salmon with thinly sliced fennel (in a light vinaigrette) and onion.

$9 lobster tails and $12 porterhouse steaks, sounds like they were all on clearance. Thanks to that shopper for minding their pennies when they're on gov't assistance! :thumb:
