Wow!

Isn't she swell!
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Well, her swelling has gone down.

But, still, she is beautiful. :thumb:

Poor Sarah - she obviously hates being forced into the limelight. I bet she's so relieved that nobody's watching.
Actually, in revenue per screen, The Undefeated was #2 at the box office before Deathly Hallows was released.
revenue per screen.. what does that mean.

I would definitely watch this movie for 50 bucks and a ride.
it behooves me to behold

I'm guessing it means they mostly play it only where there are likely to be lots of people willing to watch.

I thought most of the old-fashioned mental hospitals had been closed down by now.

They are releasing it in only conservative markets yet "tracking" box office profits.

Why would you bother to release it where you don't have an audience? Pathetic? No. That's called marketing. Income per screening is important.

If there's one thing that Sarah Palin knows, it's marketing.

In other news, I believe that Barack Obama has raised more money in fundraising than all the GOP hopefuls combined, so she's clearly not the only one who excels in that particular profession.

That is a bit sad. Presumably they play them there as there's less to do in the leafy suburbs on a Friday night.

Sarah Palin film to get wider release

The producers of the pro-Sarah Palin documentary “The Undefeated” say they are following up a better-than-expected opening weekend with plans to expand to more cities soon.

Details weren’t yet available Monday, but the movie’s distributor, ARC Entertainment, said the film would be “going to a wider release footprint later this month.”

The film opened in 10 mid-sized cities Friday and grossed about $70,000 for the weekend for a per-screen average of about $5,000, the distributor reported. Based on average U.S. ticket prices, that works out to a very rough estimate of less than 9,000 people paying to see “The Undefeated” in its first weekend.

Looks like a repeat performance from 2008. Initial good numbers followed by a nasty implosion.
