Royal Wedding security concerns; ...open carriage

I'd have to think the royal security team has their hands full with such an event. 2 billion people watching around the world, a completely packed route, open carriage, etc....all in the age of terrorism where other VIPs (pope, president, etc) all go around in bullet (and small explosion) proof vehicles. Good luck to the bobbies!

(unless it rains, of course)

But they're not VIP's. They are celebrities. They don't need any more security than Charlie Sheen or Lindsay Lohan. Ok, maybe a little less.

The point is, they aren't world leaders like those you listed.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Its a future head of state, they'll treat it as such.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

HOLY CARP!!!
Come on, people! Where is your faith in the Second Amendment?

An armed society is a polite society.

Britain needs only to abolish gun control and let all the Crown's loyal subjects freely bear arms and you'd get instant security everywhere.

ZOOOOOM!
The commentary about the wedding and all its dealings here has been very interesting.
I cite irreconcilable differences.
