Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Working on K 333. I started working on it before we moved, 2 years ago, and let it languish. I ignored it. After a while, my URL=http://web.mac.com/stuartleitch/Overtones/Stuart.html]teacher[/URL] suggested we start on some Mozart (having done some Bach and Chopin). There are some passages that are frustrating passage work that I almost, almost have under my fingers.

Today we didn't concentrate on typing. We concentrated on music. I mentioned that I heard someone say that Mozart was primarily an opera composer, and that his piano sonatas should be considered in that light. Consider each phrase part of a conversation - a sentence. Put in as many characters as you want. It made a world of difference.

We concentrated on phrasing ("No, the '.' doesn't mean 'staccato,' it means about half the length of the note that's written") and dynamics ("Crescendo means play quietly").
