Actually, wild animal wise, you were a lot closer to the Amazon than you think.

Have you hugged your Burmese Python today? The Everglades now contain hundreds of the giant non-native snake. The Everglades is a good drop off place. People drop off their pet Burmese Pythons and other exotic pets when they get too big or are no longer wanted. See the “The Elephant In The Living Room” if this subject interests you. It’s a recently released documentary film about the exotic animal pet industry. I saw it last week. Spiders were the least of your worries.


Yeah, I have heard those stories as well.
