California population: ~37.5 million Canada population: ~34 million California debt: ~$368,000,000,000 Canada debt: ~$561,000,000,000 (in Canadian dollars I presume - isn't that approximately a US dollar these days?) California debt clock Canada debt clock I was reading that Canada has been slowly paying off it's debt, but the clock is winding up not down. Who's in worse shape? What did health care do to Canada's numbers? |
