Wrong is relative.
No, right is relative.

This discussion reminds me of the experiment two of us undergraduates performed in a college psychology class. It involves toilet paper, but no rolls.

There were three stalls in the toilets on the floor of the dorm in which I lived. These stalls had the dispensers for toilet paper that are somewhat like mini-towel dispensers, giveing out a sheet at a time and leaving the end of the next sheet exposed. Our experiment commenced by watching for the maid to service the bathroom, popping the latch on each dispenser after she left, putting a tiny number on every tenth sheet in the dispensers so we could track the usage of paper in each stall over a week's time, and reclosing the dispenser. Fortunately, the bathroom was serviced at a time when nearly everyone was out of the dorm so our trips to each stall went generally unobserved. If someone did come in, we just waited in the stall we were in until they left. This procedure was carried on for a week and the usage data collected.

The next week, we emptied the dispenser in one stall as soon as it was filled and tracked the usage in the two remaining stalls. The following week, we returned paper to the stall that had been without paper and again tracked the usage in all three stalls. On the first day in which there was paper in the stall that had had none for a week, there was no usage of paper in that stall whatsoever. As time passed, usage returned to close to the pre-experiment levels in each stall, with little difference remaining after another week had passed.

With all our data collected, we were able to demonstarte operant conditioning and exinguishment of conditioning in this experiment. We received an "A" on the resulting paper. However, the professor did put one biting remark at the very end, "How long have you been interested in this subject."

my dad always encouraged us to do our pooping at public toilets when out and about, so as to cut down on flushing at home.
