Wow. Looking at some of the "original" members of the current PW:

Lady Elton - member #6
Dan - #10
Dewey - #11
Jodi - #12
Steve Miller - #15
Jamie - #19
Yes, but bear in mind that those numbers resulted from a new board going up, and everyone getting a number based on when they switched to it. For instance, Jodi was the 12th person to sign up on the new board, but had been on the old board for several years before that.

Not 'til 2004 when I came back to the piano.

However we are trying to figure out whom to blame for his presence.

darn it.. I joined in 2003, but wrote in 2001, so if someone who joined in 2001 would type in 2003, we'd be even. Otherwise mentally adjust.

I definitely lost some brain cells these last few days..

If you're talking about me, Luke's Dad wasn't my original handle over there. But I lost the password back in the day and just created a new one.

I am the grey one
January '02. Shortly after I bought my RX-3.

The Coffee Room did not exist then. It was Derrick, I believe, who suggested it some time after I joined and Frank added it as a separate forum.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

I joined the old old piano world in 1998 or 1999 - asked a question about a used Mason & Hamlin - MattD answered. I started posted regularly in the summer of 1999 - when we moved here to Colorado Springs for the first time. That's when I was looking for a piano (and ended up buyin one here then)Cork was there, Kenny was there, so was Joy. Norbert (though he didn't go by that name then) too. That was back when RMMP was a big deal too - I remember when Cork invited Larry over from RMMP. I remember going over to RMMP and reading Dewey and Larry's posts. But it was TOO SCARY over there to post. (haha!) I ran across some of those old old piano world threads once - they are somewhere on the internet, I'll see if I can find them again. I think Kenny is older than I am on this forum - but I could be wrong. I still have the old photos he posted when he bought his first piano. (does anybody remember - Cork and I hosted a website with everybody's piano pics on it - I'm pretty sure I still have all the old photos of those too somewhere...)

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Has she always been this nice and non-confrontational? (Got any link to any flamewar in which jodi was involved? )

Ax,

We have always politely blasphemed and assassinated the character and intelligence other members for as long as I've been around.

Best as I recall, I came along in 2000.
