For the sake of discussion, let's assume that PW/TOCR was your first encounter, and subsequent joining at TNCR is just a continuation.

IOW, if you joined PW in 2003, don't say you joined here in 2005 (when we opened) - use 2003.

Wow, before 2000? How long has PW been around?

I think it's been around, at least in some iteration, since the late 90s. Larry and Jodi would know.

I joined PW about a month before the coffee room went away. So I came here.

I can't remember if I was a member prior to 9/11 or not. Right about that time, though, so I put 2002.

1992: Started a website for my piano store, with a piano forum on it. Also participated on RMMP.

1994 or 5: A fellow named Cork found my forums, and invited me to join another fairly new piano forum, a sort of an afterthought to a website selling piano benches and stuff, called Piano World. Jodi was already a member there at the time, I think there might have been 20 members total. So Jodi is the member with the longest history if you start with PW, I am second.

By the way Dewey, you were a member of the PianosInc. forums too, as I recall.

Yep, I absolutely was. And I think my RMMP hash marks date back to '99, also.

And actually, I joined PW one day before jodi - she signed up on May 26, 2001 and was/is Member #12.

You're thinking about the new version of PW. PW existed long before then, it was a big "shift" to a new program that required everyone to sign up again. So you can't go by the dates people first signed up in 2001.

Actually, you're right. On the "old" PW, I was Member #9 - don't remember when that would have been - but I remember being ticked that I missed staying in the single digits when the new board opened. I think jodi was #8 on the old board, maybe. I think I remember teasing her that I beat her in getting signed up for the new forum.

Nope. Not me.

Someone who's already posted in this thread and doesn't show up in the member list.

I didn't start lurking 'til '2004.
